	German surgeon, numismatist, house- and family researcher. Bonhoff was the first and then deputy chairman of the Association of Coin Friends in Hamburg. His important collection from the Middle Ages was auctioned off in two part by Peus in Frankfurt am Main from 1977 onwards. In 1936 Bonhoff presented the Münzkabinett Berlin with a porcelain medal bearing his portrait.
