Ophthalmologist in Rapperswil SG (Switzerland). From 1909 to 1913 in Munich, where Naegeli met various numismatists (e.g. Buchenau and Bernhard). From 1913 in Zurich. Coin collector and founding member of the Freie Vereinigung Zürcher Numismatiker (FVZN). Around 1930 in close contact with the History Museum Museum St. Gallen, where he exchanged coins with the collection and published local Roman coin finds together with the curator J. Egli [J.
