	The sculptor Mr Becker of Bucharest. Emil Wilhelm August von Becker was German-Romanian sculptor in Bucharest. In addition to his work as a sculptor (architecture, monuments, sacred works), he also created designs for new Romanian coins in circulation in the 1930s. Becker created more than 130 medals and plaques on historical, cultural and military topics and was a member of the Romanian Numismatic Society. In 1937 the Münzkabinett Berlin exchanged nine false coins against four of his medals.
