Voetter, Lieutenant Colonel Otto (18.10.1841 - 30.11.1926)  | 
Voetter served as an officer in the K. and k. army and retired in 1891 as Lieutenant-Colonel. As a coin collector he was part of the so-called Missong circle. His groundbreaking works on roman mints have influenced the later RIC-volumes greatly and fore-shadow the Aufbau. Voetter's collection, with a focus on the fourth century AD, came to the coin cabinett in Vienna.  |
