Bianchi worked at the Papal mint in the Vatican. Officially titled an engraver and bearing the honorary title of a Papal die-engraver from 1877 (Incisore dei Sacri Palazzi ex Pontificis voluntate), he in fact worked as a medalist, producing Papal medals. |
