	Born in Frammay/Lorraine. Goldsmith. From 9 July 1610 successor to the Württembergian court goldsmith François Briot in Stuttgart. Medalist and die-engraver. In 1612 marriage with Sabina Steiner, daughter of the court painter of Württemberg. On 3 May 1624 marriage with Martha Schott, daughter of the Rentkammerrat. As his works end with the year 1634, Klein-Raff (1993) p. 127 do assume his date of death shortly after. Guichard signs with a rosette or floret, sometimes a decorated rosette. Lit.: U. Klein - A.
