Mr Gerhard Goedecke, Hähnelstrasse 27, Berlin-Friedenau. Collector of medieval and modern coins, esp. of the City of Lüneburg. Co-editor of the Berliner Numismatische Zeitschrift. One of the signatories of the refounding of the Numismatic Society in 1947, and named in the written permission by Allied authorities. First post-war honorary member of the Numismatische Gesellschaft zu Berlin 1843 e.V. in 1993. Purchase by the Münzkabinett Berlin in 1949. Lit.: E.-H.
