Mintmaster in Wolfenbüttel since 1588, as of 1593/94 in St Andreasberg. In Goslar from 1599 to 1612, and in Heinrichstadt only in 1588. The name Depser derives from Töpfer (Potter). His personal symbols are a heart on a Zainhaken (mintmaster's tool) and crossed drum sticks in Wolfenbüttel. He died in 1612. Lit.: H. Buck - A. Büttner - B.
