Simon, Henri James (17.09.1851 - 23.05.1932) |
Famous donor and entrepeneur of Jewish faith in Berlin. Simon on various occassions donated to the Berlin Museums and the city of Berlin. His collection of Italian Renaissance bronzes was given to the Kaiser-Friedrich-Museum (now Bode-Museum) on its inauguration in 1904. These objects are now in parts exhibited in Gallery 216.
