One of three (?) brothers, of which two were involved in the murder of Caesar. The only of the three, who appears as a magistrate on coins. RRC no. 507. Compare T. R. S. Broughton, The Magistrates of the Roman Republic II (1952) p. 340, 366 and Supplementum (1960) p. 58. Tribunus Plebis 43 BC, fled from Octavianus to Brutus and served with him as an Admiral (legatus?). During this occasion his name, lacking a title/office, appears on coins of Brutus. |
