Name

Loos, Daniel Friedrich (15.06.1735 - 01.10.1819)

Medalist, student of Johann Friedrich Stieler.

In 1754 a die-engraver at the Leipzig mint, and in 1756 in Magdeburg. In 1768 Loos moved to the Berlin mint.

Loos took over his post from Georgi and was appointed chief engraver and court medalist in 1787.
