Abraham, Jakob (1723-17.06.1800)

German die-engraver and medalist.

Firstly Abraham was working as a free lance die-cutter for the Berlin mint. From 1753 to 1755 he was appointed Royal medalist and die-engraver in Stettin. Die-cutter in Königsberg from 1756 to 1758. From 1758 to 1759 in Dresden, and from 1760 again in Berlin.

Abraham worked as a medalist in this period, too.
