One ofe the most talented die-engravers of the 18th century in Switzerland. Baptized 9 Nov. 1671 in Basels, buried there on 17 Nov. 1738. Justin de Beyer worked for Basels (from 1701) and Bern (1697/1699 to 1721). He signs with his initails IDB. Lit.: Ch.
