Iulius Pollio

Strategos in Pergamum/Mysia during the reign of Hadrian c. AD 134 and again (TO B) during the reign of Antoninus Pius and M. Aurelius as Caesar around AD 139/144.

Sometimes also named ASI[archos].

He seems not to be the same individual later mentioned on coins during the sole reign of M. Aurelius resp. Commodus Caesar in c. AD 175-177.

Lit.: RPC III p. 207; W. Leschhorn, Lexikon der Aufschriften auf griechischen Münzen II (2009) p. 788.
