Geheimer Rat Ferdinand Friedensburg. Lawyer and numismatist. From 1908 to 1919 Professor for Numismatics at Breslau University. Head of the Berlin Numismatic Society from 1893 and 1905. Friedensburg left the Society in 1905. Either donated to or purchased by the Münzkabinett Berlin between 1895 and 1928, in some cases from the trade. Lit.: K.
