From c. 1616 to 1618 Schmiedemeister in Barby for the counts of Barby and Mühlingen. From June 1618 to autumn 1619 minmaster in Barby for the counts of Barby and Mühlingen. From October to December 1619 mintmaster in Quedlinburg for abbess Dorothea Sophie of Sachsen-Altenburg. Mintmaster in Peine, in service of the bishopric of Hildesheim from late december 1619. In mid-1620 incarcerated having been accused of producing invalid coins. Dismissed on 24 December 1620. Contract with Heinrich II Count Reuss on 21 February 1621 regarding the building of a mint in Möschlitz. Oppermann operated this mint from end of May to July 1621. Mintmaster in Hof 1621.
