Coin dealer in Munich, Residenzstrasse 16. Merzbacher first worked for Bankhaus Oberndörffer in Munich, where he was head of the coin trade depatement. Abraham Merzbacher stop active business at Oberndörffer's in 1873 and left the daily operation of his Münzgeschäft Abraham Merzbacher to his son Eugen Merzbacher in 1873.
