Böcking, Oberbergrat Heinrich (01.06.1785 - 06.05.1862) |
Heinrich Böcking, mayor of Saarbrücken in 1814 and from 1832 to 1838. Purchase by the Münzkabinett Berlin in 1858. Numbers refer to the catalogue of Böcking's collection, which Dr Friederichs had prepared. All objects are said to have been found in Saarbrücken. In 1843 purchase of 12 medieval and modern coins from Bergrat Böcking directely (on 21 February 1843). Lit.: R. Hoffmann, Du Hérapel à Berlin.
