The Bellini collection was described in parts by Sestini, Descriptio (compare introduction p. VII). It was acquired by the dealer Lambros of Athens, who offered parts of it to the Münzkabinett Berlin. According to Cohen fam. p. 42/3 with note the collection was sold in Paris, see M. Bahrfeldt, Numismatische Zeitschrift 1897, p. 47. Lambros in 1865 and 1867 sold coins to the Münzkabinett Berlin. |
