Mr Carl Friedrich Gebert of Nuremberg. Numismatist and coin dealer. First auction sale in 1884. The last one, auction 155, took place on 21 May 1919. His son Karl Friedrich Wilhelm Gebert (8 November 1876 - 30 November 1959) continued the company until 1945, and reopened his buisness in 1949. Lit.: J.
