Handjéri, Fürst Telemach (-1850) |
Imperial Russian State Councillor. Son of Alexander Handjeri (Hangerli). Married to Caroline, née von Glasenap (the Fürstin Handjéry, who later sold the collection tzo Hermann Dannenberg, who died in 1879. The couple's son was Nicolaus Prince von Handjéry (1836-1900). Telemach Handjéry had bought the Gut Ulenburg estate in Westphalia, which was sold in 1865. Handjéry's Roman imperial coins entered the collection of A. von Rauch and finally the Münzkabinett Berlin in 1853 [Friedländer - von Sallet ²(1877) p. 32]. Coins were sold by Hermann Dannenberg to the Münzkabinett Berlin in 1852 from the collection of the late Prince Telemach Handjéry (who had died in 1850). Lit.: H.
