Historian and epigraphist. Worked in Rome and Athens. From 1872 to 1875 professor in Strassburg, from 1886 professor of ancient history in Berlin. Acquisition note in 1904: A first selection from the collection of the late Professor Ulrich Köhler [sold] by his heirs via Justizrat Lisco, here Mohrenstr. 13/14, to the Royal Coin Cabinet for 2,400 Marks. |
