Prussian nobleman and famous collector of coins. Created Baron in 1883. During Lehndorff-Steinort's life time he donated and sold coins to the Münzkabinett Berlin. His collection (Prussia and others) was sold by Otto Helbing Nachfolger, Auction 88 on 4 May 1943 (no acquisitions made by the Münzkabinett Berlin). Lit.: E.
