Ottoman vizier since 1878. Governor of Crete from 1879 to 1885. Coin collector. Visited by Anton Prokesch-von Osten in 1872 in Rome. Photiadès' collectionw as sold by Henri Hoffmann: W. Froehner, Monnaies grecques de la Collection Photiades Pacha. Paris (1890) sowie Monnaies Byzantines de la collection Photiadès Pacha. Died in September 1892. Lit.: A. S.
