Prince Philip of Saxe-Coburg of the catholic Koháry line. The prince owned an important collection of coins, which in 1928 was sold by Hamburger in Frankfurt am Main. The Münzkabinett Berlin previously had acquired coins from his collection in 1900 via Adolph Weyl in Berlin, who in turn had bought them at the auction sale by H. Cubarek in Vienna on 2 Oktober 1899. |
