Lawyer (an expert in constitutional law) in Gotha. Coins were acquired for the Münzkabinett Berlin in 1883 with the help of First lieutenant Max Bahrfeldt. Max (later von) Bahrfeldt was the son-in-law of Samwer since his maariage to the latter's daugher Elisabeth Mary Charlotte (1859-1954) in 1878. |
