Schorn, Wilhelm Eduard (28.06.1806 - 26.08.1857) |
Art historian. In 1831 Inspector and in 1832 founding director of the Kupferstichkabinett of the Royal Museums in Berlin. On 9 November 1857 the Münzkabinett Berlin purchased parts of the bequest of Director Schorn for 12 Reichstalers (all ancient coins combined). In addition 25 modern and medieval coins and medals were bought for another 4 Reichstalers. |
