Mr E.[ngelbert?] Secker (1899 in Lübeck, later Hamburg). Acquisitions by the Münzkabinett Berlin between 1899 and 1912. Presumably identical with the Hamburg merchant, coin dealer and coin collector Engelbert Secker (1841-1916), who had built an important collection of Talers. This collection was sold by Adolph Hess, Frankfurt am Main, auction sale on 26 May 1886. Secker did edit medals in 1887. |
