	Philologist. Professor at the University of Frankfurt an der Oder, to which Westermann bequeathed his coin collection. Purchased from the Friedrichs-Gymnasium in Frankfurt an der Oder resp. its library in 1858 by the Münzkabinett Berlin, who used those funds to rebuild buildings.
