Historian and lawyer. Director of the library and head of the University library of the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg from 1966 to 1986. Sinogowitz bequeathed his collection of c. 200 Byzantine gold coins to the Univeryity of Erlangen-Nuremberg. Lit.: M. Boss - L.
