Protestant theologist. Kurth's collections of Egyptian, Near Eastern and ancient art including cuneiform texts and papyri were given on permanent loan to the Museum of Archaeology of the Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg in 1950. These loans were later turned into donations by his heirs. |
