His name appears on coins minted in Daldis during the last issuing period under the joint reign of Valerianus (CNG, E-Auction 369 [2016-02-24] no. 427) and Gallienus (here explicitly named as Μ ΑΥ(Ρ) CΤ(A) ΠΕΙΟC ΟΛΥΜ e.g. on SNG Aulock no. 2938); on pseudo-autonomous coins there usually is only the short version “Pius”, with the addition ΟΛΥΜ… (for “victor at the Olympian games”), see SNG Copenhagen no. 111; SNG Aulock no. 8224, and SNG Munich no. 100.
