Mintmaster in Mainz in service of the archbishop from 1586 to shortly before his death in 1604. Previously mintmaster in Veldenz from 1577 to 1579 (for the duke of Pfalz-Veldenz), in Simmern from 1578 to 1587 (for the duke of Pfalz-Simmern), and in Neuleiningen from 1587 to 1591 (for the bishop of Worms). Also mintmaster in Kirchheim-Bolanden (for the count of Nassau-Saarbrücken) from 1588, and in Wiesbaden from 1591 (mint operational in 1592) to 1594 (for the count of Nassau-Idstein-Wiesbaden).
