	German pharmacist and medal collector. His collection entered the collection of Bochum University in two parts, partially as a donation resp. on permanent loan from 1991. In 2009 the collection was split up as a donation between the University and the Ruhr Museum in Essen. The part now kept by Bochum University includes Vester's numismatic collection on the history of pharmacy, medicine, and natural sciences, with some 1.600 objects (primarily medals).
