Medalist, juweller, die-engraver, armorer and sculptor (casting in bronze) in Venice. Called Camelio. Master in charge of dies at the Venetian mint as of 1484 (until 1530). Went to Rome in 1510. There appointed as die-engraver for life-time at the Papal mint 24 June 1515 (and was granted an assistent in 1526). Gambello left Rome already in 1516. |
