Bilderbeck, Julius

Also known as Billerbeck. From Rinteln. From 29 September 1617 mintmaster (officially called mint-administrator) in Oldendorf. Son of the mayor of Rinteln, Johann Bilderbeck. From 1618 to November 1619 mintmaster in Verden (for the Verden Domkapitel).

When the mint was moved from Oldendorf to Rinteln in 1618, Bilderbeck accompanied it and became the administrator of the mint in Rinteln. Spend a short time in prison since he was accused of infidelty. After paying his debts, again administrator of the mint Rinteln, which was move again to Oldendorf on the 24 April 1620. He was obliged to sell his minting tools to the mint-administrator to be, Kaspar Kohl.

His symbols are two Zainhaken crossed (mint master's tool), and in Verden a trefoil.
